Yellowstone Country Winter 2008 |

When I returned home from NZ at the first of this month I had this royal treat( just kiddin) awaiting me. Today it snowed 5' with 74" on the ground
and another 3" due by morning. The snowpack is above normal which bodes well for the Madison, Henry's Fork and Park waters.
Anybody else enjoying life in a snowcave? Dennis

LOL... We just got 3" over here in central NJ two days ago and the area practically shut down. Don't know what would happen if we got 5'! Out of
curiosity, do you own a plow? Otherwise, how the hell do you shovel your driveway???

Looks good for summer fishing Dennis!
My best trip to Yellowstone was in 1992. Since that summer I've never had good conditions since. Is that your experience too? How was the snow level in winter 1991/1992? Jay |

My drive is cleared by a tractor with a 6' blower. This is second best winter since I moved here 10 years ago. My contractor was building my house during
the winter of 96-97 and during that winter a 150' was on the ground. I'm glad I missed that winter.

I have about 2-3 ft. on the ground at my house although it has not been a particularly snowy or cold Winter for NH. But we have not had those typical 3 day
warm spells that usually wipe away the snow pack most Winters. The first significant snow covered my lawn back in late November and I have not seen Green
since.

Did I mention that it's in the 50s and 60s down here right now and we have maybe seen 10 flakes of snow all winter.... he, he, he....
