Posts: 2 05/10/2008 07:52	Tags : None Hi guys, I am sure this is a "standard" fix for those who know. But this is a repair I just doubt whether I should take on myself. As noted above the rod is an 8 1/2 ft. 115. The rod is in almost new condition. However, the first time I got it in i could not resist running out and trying it out. First cast the mid sections snapped right at the top ferrule where it is pinned. Any suggestions? I would really appreciate some thoughts on the fix and also some reccomendations on someone to fix it? Don't be bashful, if you are in the business of rod repairs I would love to here from you? My main concern is getting the rod to look like it did before, mostly the new wraps that will be needed. I have done this before but do not believe I could replicate the wrap as it is now? Also, any suggestions as to the fishability of the rod? Guys who have used them, line weights etc.? Thanks, Barron Gann Cullman AL

Posts: 438 05/11/2008 13:59	Sounds like the standard Heddon mid failure. I have seen and fixed many of them It does need to be scarfed.
