I have a 12' long 3 pc. bamboo rod. I believe it's a fly rod!? I would like to find out who made it, how old it is, and rough value. I know it's
only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, but I would just like a rough number. Any info??

Sorry to hear about the house fire Riggerr1, my sympathies.
Your avatar picture appears to be a bait casting rod and not a fly rod. Is there any name anywhere (would either be on the rod shaft above the reel seat or stamped into the reel seat itself)? Please verify that each section is 4' long... that it's a 3 piece rod and not a 2 piece with an extra tip. 12' for any rod is quite long and for a bait rod it's almost unheard of. Quality pictures (pix of handle, reel seat, and ferrules are the most important) are about the only way to get an on line assessment. All the best and trust the post fire issues resolve themselves satisfactorily. Mike
