I have just completed a 7 1/2 5 wt bamboo rod. I am looking for suggestions for a nice classic reel. I will take any suggestions on lines also. This is my
first bamboo rod.

Personally, I think the Hardy Lightweight is a classic.
It should mate well with your rod and your budget. Line that baby with a Cortland 444 Peach. Bob |
