A long over due book on the area's master artists. I'm a little disappointed that Todd did not include Bill Searles, TUs West Denver Chapter's finest tier. "The rule is perfect: in all matters of
opinion our adversaries are insane."

Nice book | #2 | ||

It arrived today and is a very good profile of many Colorado Tyers. The book is printed and bound in the US and is a very pretty production. It's a large
book printed on heavy, high-quality paper, hence the 69.95 pricetag..... I would recommend it.

Colorado Trout Flies, Very nicely done!! | #4 | ||

Have been meaning to say a few words about Todd's book and have just been to dam lazy, but I've started back through it and must say his work is
very well done. Others have mentioned the artwork and paper quality but the one thing that struck me was the somewhat personal approach to each tyer. I'm
not from Colorado and really have no connection , other than I have a Granger or two around the house but again as with Micheal Sinclair, Todd has shown us the
rich history of Colorado fly fishing in ways we could never have seen on our own. My gfriend even found interest , which provoked discussions about the who,
whens and whys of fly development.
Todd great job and my hats off to you for an outstanding effort. The dedication and work shows. Scott Whitman |

I finally picked up Colorado Trout Flies and couldn't agree more with what's already been mentioned about this latest offering ...
Hosman's book follows in the vein of Ed Engle's (Splitting Cane) and like Scott said, "the one thing that struck me was the
somewhat personal approach to each tyer."
