Hello Everyone,
Just found this site this afternoon. Seems like a nice place!
My Grandmother gave me a few memento's from my Grandpa. He was a great fisherman and hunter from Canada. He used winter in Florida and did some fishing there. In the collection of poles I found one that is seemingly quite interesting and I can't seem to find any info on this particular pole and am hoping someone here can lead me in the right direction of maybe finding more out about this nice pole.
It is a 7 ft. one piece bamboo pole in nice condition. It has a red and white label on it with a picture of a fish. It is marked Florida Tackle Co. St. Petersburg, Fl. Barracuda. The fish depicted on the label sure doesn't look like a barracuda though. The handle is wrapped with cord and there is just one loop on the very tip.
If anyone has any idea of any resources I can read or find out more about this pole it would surely be appreciated.
Thanks ahead of time,
Debra
