This male (on right) kept chasing other males off the bed
Here a different female just got done gyrating.
This is Bob in front of an old hatchery that was probably built during the CCC days.

Rgram (Bob) and me hit a PA spring creek today. Temp was about 35 and there were some bugs but we had fun watching wild browns spawn,

Don, both Rolf and i have Bill's 8 ft hollowbuilt 3 wt. Very nice casting rod. Strong in the butt for a 3 wt and medium fast action.

Don, it's a 7 1/2' 5wt.
I haven't cast the 8' 3wt. Andre and Rolf both fish them and seemed to be very pleased. And Marty, aah never mind. |

Andre, I've talk to Bill about his 8ft 3wt. and from what I have been told it's a nice rod
I've been looking for one a long time, all the ones I've tried have been soft and slow |

Voyeur!
And since Len's not around, it's "Rgram (Bob) and I". I know you're the most modest person around but you're the subject of the sentence as much as Bob is.

I must say that I'm surprised that Bucktrout(Eric) hasn't made any comments yet.I'm sure that he would point out that the reason he catches more
fish than Andre is the fact that he does not have to fish in a hatchery to catch fish

Right you are Will. I prefer more challenging waters like the Youghiogheny where the water is 6" deep because it has been diverted to commercial
interests or the Savage where the fish love to play hide and seek and shut mouth or the NB where one wrong step could take you for the ride of your
life.
Keeps me on my game. |

Bucktrout wrote:Eric, Yep you definately face more challenges in your choices than those placid hatchery troughs could ever provide!!!!!!!!!! And it's pretty low to disturb those poor fish while they are in the throes of passion.Do you think we could bribe the NJ Dept of Fisheries to fling a couple of netfulls of trout through Andres' boudoir window the next time he and the missus get kissy faced? After all, turnabout is fairplay

As usual things go far off the beaten path here. In order to bring clarity to this situation let me say that we did not fish the "hatchery" as the
"hatchery" has not been in use for probably over 30 years. We did however fish a very challenging spring creek in PA. As for Eric he
probably couldn't fish this particular creek as you have to have a modicum of skills in order to catch fish. Eric as we all know likes those stocked trout
and catches tons of fish when no one is around. now Will i don't want to sound defensive here as I freely admit I would fish in
your septic tank if fish were rising. Howard nice to see you as the grammar sheriff but I think I may be
right.

Andre,
I don't think you give yourself enough credit. I believe you would fish in Will's septic without fish rising. No doubt you would be using an outhouse fly nymph attached to your dry fly in your normal manner of taking fish. |
