go to Global trchnology and engineering.I bought a 20' tube and had them cut it to 4' I think each tube cast me under 15 dollars.Made wooden caps but
would like to have brass. thanks for any help.P.S.Years ago i got a woodworkers cat. that sold buts and caps for there vener tubs.Cant find them anymore

What about the end caps for brass railing? You might have to try a few types and sizes but they should work. You could even thread them if your lathe has an
auto feed.
Or I remember seeing someone turn a steel disk over onto a form using a lathe to make bowls. You could do that with brass sheet. It didn't look too tricky. Please note that I haven't tried any of those ideas yet, they're still just ideas but I'm sure that someone could make it work. |
