That is a beautifully colored brown, and the River Ahja is beautiful in its own right. What make bamboo rod were you fishing? Bob Go Heels!!! |

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It is Horrocks-Ibbotson's rod Mayflower from 1940's and Pflueger Medalist reel from early 70's.

Well it,s almost winter again and this was a fun post so what do you say gents,who,s got some new pic, s from last years fishing to share. Heres whats on my
desk top today, don,t think i,ve posted it here yet,nice cutty from Elk this fall.Rod is an unknown to me, was a fixer-upper,wraps aren,t original but grip and
check are. Anyone know who made it? Who,s going next? Daryl
