It's about zero degrees here on Christmas morning, and I'm about to go to church and play the organ. The Christmas morning service starts with French Noels by Daquin on the organ, followed by a congregational carol-sing. Later, I'll be cooking a 15lb turkey with all the fixin's, but right now, I'm looking out my office window at four deer bedded down in the snow in my backyard. I think they know it's Christmas, and the days are now getting longer, and I'll spend more than a little time today thanking God for all His blessings, and dreaming of Spring, when the Baetis hatches begin and trout metabolism speeds up enough to feed on top. I want to wish all of you a wonderful holiday!
