Hi All: I'm a new member and was directed to this site by a member. I bought a vintage Pflueger Medalist 1494DA fly reel and I'm looking to learn
about it. I'd like to clean it up and use it as a working reel. I'm not sure what it is composed of so I'm uncertain as to how I should approach
it. I have a PM into Bulldog and I'm hoping he can explain to me the best way to get it clean again. I just started exploring the site and I enjoy what
I've seen so far.
