Here's one option on the upper end of the river.
http://www.completeflyfisher.com/News/ I haven't used them in a couple of decades, and they've changed hands since then, but they have a pretty goood reputation. Here's another shop about a mile upriver from them, http://www.pioneeroutfitter.com/ No experience at all with the second operation, except they are conveiently located to the upper river. EP |

Craig (the owner) is a friend of my extended family. He's an upstanding gentleman and has been at the guiding game on the Big Hole and elsewhere for many years. Most of his clientele are repeats. I wade fished the Big Hole on my own last August and his guides clients were into fish upstream and down from me as they drifted past. I caught some fish, but those guys were really "dialed in" as they say. Have fun! Greg

Tim Tollett's fly shop(Frontier Anglers) in Dillon has guided the Big Hole for over 30 years. Website www.frontieranglers.com
Another fly shop on the Big Hole is Sunrise Fly Shop at Melrose. Website www.sunriseflyshop.net My only contact with fly shop in the area was very positive with Sunrise but that was 15 years ago and I think they may changed owners since then. Tim Tollett is well know for developing patterns in the area. Good Luck!!! Dennis |
