I've found it odd that assuming the D with# stamped inside Hardy reels during W. H Dingley's tenure, are really a reference to "Dingley",
that for fly reels they most often show up on Salmon size Uniquas. I've seen one or two trout size Hardy Uniquas with a D# (one even had a pinned arbor
that I still have photos of
 ), but the other 5 or 6 have all been
3.5 to 4 inch Uniqua Salmons. Assuming Dingley was one of the "top dogs" in the shop, I've often wondered why there aren't Perfects from
this vintage with his stamp?

yep , for sure them's sweet looking reels , lets see some innards pictures of the big reel please, and maybe a backside picture , both reels sure have lots
of finish still on them , wonderfull top notch dingleys / hardy reels , i really like seeing pictures of reels that have been well taken care`of
