When you, the Rod Maker, build a new rod for a customer or yourself and two different tips(Dry/Wet) are required or requested. Do you take a taper designed for dry fly fishing and modify the tip taper for wet fly, nymph, etc or do you go the other way and choose a wet taper and modify it for dry fly fishing. Which way do you find easier, or do you build the rod with 2 tips of the same taper and let the customer or yourself fish either method with the tips provided. Just curious, thought I would pose the question to the veteran makers out there.
