Je ne sais quoi is not an engineering term. But it is a reason to prefer a UK made reel.

$1.39 - yes, that is the lowest I've seen.

the question was raised about the check.
I had a friend over tonight, Floyd Burkett building me a rod, and was showing him the reel. The tippet ended up behind the spool, so the reel came apart - an excuse to photograph it. Not the best, but it shows it.

bulldog just posted looked real familiar so I opened up a Hardy from late 70,s or early 80,s and look what was in there

Richard, the foot has two inline screws. The only place on the reel, the box, the pouch, or the paperwork where it notes Made in Korea is a sticker on the
underside of the reel foot. Take that off and it could have been made in Moose Jaw.

If you didn't already buy one, the price is now down to $216 for the 2/3/4.

The actual price you'll pay is whatever exchange rate your credit card company uses at the time Harris processes the order for shipment. I got nicked for about $15 over their quoted price due to a small perturbation in the exchange rate. C'est la vie EP |

the dovetail is there, but it is not deeply cut. Nice little touch, that.

can someone tell me how many inches across is the 2,3,4 size reel and if someone has the 5,6,7 reel , what is it in inches across the spool , they look big in
the pictures , i had my hands on the big salmon reel yesterday in the hardy booth , was a nice reel , it was made in england , they didn't have the smaller
ones to look at ,
and for the price , a heck of a deal on a reel that these korea reels are for sure ,
