Guys,
I have been looking at the hardy papers and my own Hardy line capacities and I've come to the conclusion there is some inconsistency on line ratings for the Perfects and maybe the St. Georges. So I have this question: For an 8' to 8'6" cane rod rated for a 6 or 7 line, wanting 75 to 100 yds of 20 lb backing, what size post-war (less expensive for fishing, not collecting) Perfect or St. George would I want? I am wondering if the correct answer on the Perfect is 3 5/8, and thinking that means too heavy of a reel.
Thanks,
-John
