I have a Payne 206 9' 3/2/2 ( two tips & two mids) original brass capped tube, bag & tag and original? brass capped tip tube. All five sections 36
1/2".The tips and mids have slight sets, bottom guide on one mid has been re-wrapped on one side, the other mid has been over varnished and has
intermediates (possible replacement?) dark cane,agate stripper guide,ring hookkeeper,blued ferrules,cigar grip(small gouge on bottom)wood insert w/blued
sliding band and butt cap stamped Payne reg. u.s. pat. off. Butt cap also has one circle stamped on bottom.Rod appears un-refinished with the exception of one
mid.Tag states weight as 4 3/4 oz. and some illegible writing on upper corner.Seems to have med/med-fast action as it will throw a WF7 or DT6 a mile.Sorry
about the long-winded post, what I would like to know is year of manufacture, model (canadian canoe rod?) etc. and value.I know pics are a must for appraisals,I
will try to transfer from photobucket again. Thanks in advance for any help or opinions,Matt.
