Yesterday after a reboot, when I opened the forum, the icons in the far left column indicating new posts, etc. had vanished and were replaced by just the
verbiage. Nothing else on my system has been affected. I did not install any new software. I can't find anything in my account or profile that shows a
wa to return to the icons. Any ideas?

Mine are gone too. I think there is a change of server happening right now, something in the works, the icons should return soon. Mark

Read this they are on my personal websites repository and being
transferred, don't know when FairPoint will complete this........

Didn't know this was a Verizon/Fairpoint problem as I had all the icons after reading your announcement of the change. Thanks for the update.

Your cache held the photos until you rebooted which is why you had them, hopefully the problem will be resolved by the weekend or at least they'll unlock
them so I can make the necessary changes to the scripts............

Yup. They came back on or about 2/8, then vaporized a day or so ago. I guess this is another Fairpoint glitch. If this is the worst thing that they do, I
guess I can live with it.

I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with FairPoint Tech Support yesterday only to find that nearly 100 pages of 8 1/2 years of work of my website was lost in
the migration from Verizon! Although a few tweaks will need to be done to make things better they are back and hosted here at Yuku, sadly the Orvis Database is
still not working since I can't host an MS Excel file from Yuku but I am working on it, sorry for this being such a PITA!

Sante' I am so sorry you're having to go through this crap. When Fairpoint took over our Fremont Cty (ID) telephone company, they treated our town (Island Park) exactly the way the county government does; they raised our rates and basically said, "Thanks for your money, now live with whatever we decide not to give you." That our town is the single largest tax dollar provider in the county and a major revenue source for the phone company because of DSL density made absolutely no difference.
