Perhaps the museum facilities would be available. There are cabins with bunks.plenty of space for tents and I know of 2 Sunocos in close
proximity. No! I know of 3.And, of course there is the White House of Fly fishing just up the road. Could be Obama C . may be in.

Not that I wouldn't want to fish with you again Tom, but doesn't the fishing up there suck? Nothing but stunted stockers and spawned out invasives?
Maybe if Leonard Maxwell would be there to take me to his honey hole (more likely honey puddle) that holds the one true trout... |

Mike or Tom, I know it's only a guess but do the rivers hold up normally until the end of June? I know there should be Sulfurs and Iso's.
Camping at the museum doesn't sound like camping to me but the cabins might appeal to Rolf's idea of "Camping" |

If you decide on mid-May, I'm in. Otherwise looks like I'll be chasing fish around TN, NC and FL beginning the last of June.

you got the museum bunkhouse, call erin or sue at the museum to reserve it. tell them you're from clark's, i think erin is a member of the board.
i'm not sure if it costs anything. but you have a bathroom, showers, and a big covered barbecue thingy there. you got the beaverkill campground, maybe ten
minutes up the road. don't know what they charge, but you might need to reserve your space. they have showers there.

I am definitely interested. I can't remember the cost, but when I looked into the CFFM bunkhouse in the past I remember thinking it was quite expensive
(something to do with high insurance costs - maybe if people stopped litigating so much there would be less of a recession). There is state forest land near
the upper Willow but I haven't explored it. I have some special unofficial overnight spots but there is only room enough for one sleeping bag in a bivy
sack, nothing as grand as a tent.
Cowboy coffee as I know it is thick and when it's ready to drink you throw a few egg shells into the brew and like magic they cause the grounds to settle to the bottom of the pot. Mike, you are getting me all conflicted. The children and I are focusing on ice climbing and backcountry skiing near and in the Adirondacks, and you are talking about catching fish!! Cheers, Lawrence

Since you guys for the most part have seen the water. One suggestion would be to camp along the Savage River in Maryland. There are several primative sites
across the road from the river or reserve a pavilion in Big Run State Park. So if it rains Marty's rods won't get wet. There is also New Germany State
Park close by that has showers that we can use. The town of Freeport has a several small shops for a cup of joe and a tavern for drafts. Another suggestion
would be to rent cabins at Barnum that are on the Upper North Branch of the Potomac. Though it is a longer ride into town for coffee. Just putting something
out there to think about? Three tailwaters and a number of brookie streams!

Folks,
I am not going more than 2 1/2 hours from home for a weekend so it's either the Catskills or Boiling springs area. I can live with either one so those that are coming please let me know what you think. Defazio of course will be going to Potter county which is 4 1/2 hours away. Read between the lines.
