Ron Barch, Dennis Higham, and others are putting together a cane area at the Great Waters Expo in Chicago next weekend. I plan to hang out there when I can, too. :-)

Lots of cane at both shows. The "Bamboo Renaissance" booth at the Chicago show was a success. About 80% of the folks walking by
stopped and talked. We educated, showed how rods are made, did a few appraisals, let folks cast bamboo and talked to many about grand-dad's old rod they
had at home. Tom Hegleson, who puts on the show, is a cane supporter. He donated the space for the Bamboo booth and wants to do it again next year. We're
seeing a lot more cane at all the shows than in previous years. look for the "Bamboo Renaissance" booth again next year in Chicago and maybe/probably
at the Minni show too. Those of you who helped man the booth a big thank you.
