As always, thank you very much indeed for your help. LH-Design tianium reel, marked #5, holds a DT5 floating line. Spool ported sporting two mayflies. The reel has been fished, condition as per pics. Hardy Bouglé Centenary, 3 1/2", no. 62 of 100, mint unfished, in walnut presentation box with brass plaque. them 'at knows nowt, fears nowt

Posts: 278 03/04/2009 05:17	Both guesses seem a bit high to me. A reasonable price for the Bouglé would be $500-600, with a slight chance of it making a bit more. The Leen Huisman is going to suffer from being unknown and niche market and its not-for-everyone design, but even more from its condition. You also see this happen with Ari 't Hart reels, condition is everything. And ATH is much better and wider known as a brand. People looking for a designer reel would want it to be in mint condition, so I really can't see it being sold for more than $500-600. But especially on occasions such as this I love to be proven wrong, so good luck with your sale! Wilfred de Bruijn The Lowlands Of Holland

Posts: 2776 03/04/2009 08:26 Immoderatus Britannicus	Christian - just a thought - it may be worth talking to Just Reels - they are the US agent for LH Design. Regarding the condition maybe LH could refurbish the reel prior to sale? Wilfred you may well be right - they are difficult !
