I believe my dog would risk his life to save me; how could I do any less?

Until a few weeks ago I would have said "no way". But a few weeks ago, my daughter was running with our dog and encountered a "would be"
attacker. My daughter panicked, the dog sensed it and chased him off. I now think of the answer to this question in a different way, now that I owe him one.
Here is a pic of the two of them.

I know my dog would never forgive me if I died trying to save him. So I'll have to answer no!

But, after spending at least $17,500 on Tank's little misadventure, I have to wonder if Mr. Bobby Jenkins would do it all over again. For sure, he would
have been more careful to spit.
