I have a couple questions that I think I can guess the answers, but am looking for feedback and/or confirmation.
I just acquired a Wright & McGill Granger Victory 9053 cane rod. Name is on the rod, the reel seat is stamped Made by Wright & McGill Co., Denver, Colo. but I can't find a serial number anywhere on the rod. I'm guessing that these rods did not have individual serial numbers as they were mass produced? Yes? If that's the case, how might I hone in on the age of this rod? I'm guessing that the best I might be able to do is assign a rough time period the rod was build?
This is more a question out of curiosity as I'm wondering what/who is older, the rod or me?
Thanks for any and all feedback.
