Has anyone received the book yet? Has anyone on the waiting list been notified to pay by Medlar Press?

Here's what I know...
The book will be out soon. Medlar is not contacting anyone till the books are in their hands ........... however you can reserve your copy by paying with visa now. There are no special bindings available or limited editions. 
Most of us are anxious to receive a copy ..... I know I am!  The wait continues...

they are supposed to be mailed at the end of this month, so I would be surprised if anyone has one yet.
the rods are never obsolete - the marketing is.

I had a long chat with Rupe today about many things including the book.
The current situation is that he had to re-shoot a few pictures after he had seen the proof copy. Various to-ings and fro-ing with Medlar and he will be receiving the final final copy this week. Once he has done this last check and approved it, the presses will roll. The book is selling exceptionally well |

Thank you very much for the good word on the book. I am a relatively recent student of these reel/art histories, but I've been agonizing since I heard of the production of this book. I'm also very taken by the depth of your overall knowledge of these reels and makers. I seem to have been born with a genetic curiosity about them and relish your posts. Many thanks.
