with all the new forum members 5000 plus , i thought i do a post to let the new members know what i have to offer ,
i set myself up when i retired to just take bamboo only guys fishing on the best trout river in canada '' bow river'', with the odd special day into a few nice mountain rivers , i don't work for a fly shop as this way i can pick and choose who i wish to spend my days with , because we bamboo guys are a special group and i just find that we are a little more relaxed then the new breed of fly fisherman coming along , and to me it's not all about catching fish , it's enjoying the moment , useing classic reels and silk line ,
as forum members and fishing with bamboo rods , plus i also get to fish with you , the lodgeing and meals are on me and my better half wilma ,to help keep the cost down for members of this forum ,
on the fishing part we get to switch out and try the many differant bamboo rods from other makers during the days fishing , here's is a few post for the new members who'd maybe like to see what i have to offer and what the bow river has to offer , these are from some of the forum members who i took in the 2008 season with me on the bow , 2009 should be a even better season and i'm looking forward to seeing a whole bunch of new members this year
please take a min and check out my website and if you'd like to get a chance to try fishing with me , call or email me http://bowriveradventures.googlepages.com/ , and if you really want a trip and just can't afford it with the mess the world is in and need a break from it all , as forum members i'll work with ya and have been knowned to take the odd reel or rod on trade for a fishing trip , life is just to short as it is to pass up on a good trip if you really would like to try out the bow river , and plus i'm semi retired and just want to fish as much as i can with you
i have some dates still open for the summer , one week only in july , one week only left in augs , if you'd like to fish the spring, the month of may is a very good month on the bow river for throwing big streamers for big browns , also i have a few dates left for the fall fishing in sept and oct
