neat!joe fox is a great source for cobbler's wax and mole skin.and of course the torch bearer for catskill tying in so many ways.
the fact that catskill john and jim slattery post on there too makes it very impressive. BTW,catskill john,do you ever come down here to philly? |

Joe Fox is all these things...and more! He also takes in wounded pigeons and nurses them back to health in the company of Harry Darbee's Andalusian blue
duns...and the pigeons are sent off thinking they've just had a free stay at a Holiday Inn! Dumb pigeons...
Catskill John and Joe...I'm near at hand, just can't afford to make it up to the Catskills. However, I'll be fishing the East River with Forum member RandyFlycaster. I won't be fishing a Leonard...but I will be fishing a Dingley!

3 days out...no nibbles...no other fisherpersons... I hope when I get back to VA there will still be some springtime blooms and hatches, but while I'm here I'll try to be the first guy to hook a striper in the Manhattan area. I think your Avatar fly is sublime. Would you be interested in trading a dozen of your traditional wet flies for one of the prints on my website (below)?
