This guys stuff is amazing. I have only seen pictures and have never held one, reel would be too beautiful to fish, but as a work of Art, I would hang it on
the wall.... Stellar!

I fish with mine on a fiberglass five weight rod. Yes, they are works of art, truly beautiful and completely functional. I was going to sell mine but Dear
Wife said "no way, you should keep it and fish with it". Not only pretty, but smart is my wife! The wood is dense, very hard (read about it on the
Dallari website) and each reel is unique. If I remember I will take some photographs although for the moment I will not promise anything since I am very busy
with a fixing a house trashed by tweeker squatters.. Life is too short to hang a Dallari reel on the wall. I fish with mine and once I did it the first
time I relaxed.

Aransas, no I lucked into one at a fly shop. How it got there I cannot imagine. The new owner found it with hoards of other things all stored away and he put a price on it I could not ignore. It had been on the shelf from way back in the nineties at least. |

i sent him a lengthy email 2 months ago , explaing how i loved his reels and how would pay him silly money to make a personal reel for me which i would use and
would be the pinnacle of my collection , no reply as yet , im rather disappointed , i love his talents..
