Hey Rob, it looks absolutely fantastic, I love the green, should be awesome in the case. But the hell with the case, I am headed to Grand Lakes Stream the first chance I get, already started my tube for it. I will let you know when it gets here. Just to give you a clue how excited, I found my big waders that I can fit my broken ankle into. I figure the hydrostatic pressure should lend ample support. I already started the tube for it, it will be just like the one for your Saltwater
Pentalux I made. Forgive the messy work table; I worked all night to get that one out for you in time.

Jay,
That quad was an absolute pleasure to cast! And, that sure is a nice reel seat on it.
I can't wait to get my quad finished now! Mark |

A new model from the New Divine Rods - the "Special Fairy Fly Rod" | #46 | ||
|
We've finalized the taper and design of the newest New Divine Rod. We took the Classic Fairy Fly Rod and allowed it to "evolve" into a more
modern action in a new TWO PIECE configuration. This new model is based on the classic taper of the original Fairy Fly Rod, but it is lighter in weight (having
only one set of ferrules) and we've made the action a little quicker to satisfy the needs of modern fly fishers. The tips recover very rapidly, and the rod
has a very crisp action, but still has a classic feel and look. As many of you know, it's awfully hard to put into words something as subjective as the
action of a rod - but this one is rapidly becoming my personal favorite. Here are a few pictures. Oh yeah - I should mention that it's a 7.5', 2/2 rod
that likes a DT4 or a DT5 depending on the line you prefer and your casting style. Cedar classic Divine style reel seat with sliding band is standard.

Nick,
that's very cool! I've toyed with the same idea, now I certainly have to try it. Let us know how the ferrules hold up. Once again, very cool! All the best Idar |

Like the wrap colors, I use the same (I think). Is that antique gold with cardinal red w/o color preserver?

Thank you,
The gold is YLI bright gold with no cp and the tipping is a YLI java colored brown. The little stickers fell off so I do not know the #s. |
