I had listed this rod as sold pending funds last month but the individual just wasn't able to come up with the funds (tuff times, no issue) so the rod is
back on the market.
This Bill Taylor rod is a 8 foot 2/2 3 weight hollow built hex model. I would describe the action as medium fast with the rod having the capabilty of slinging a long line especially for a three weight. This is not your typical three weight. The hollow building really seems to have dampened the vibration on this rod reducing the shock waves I have become almost accustomed to in longer length bamboo rods in these lighter lengths. The flaming on this rod is beautiful, as are the wraps, one the of nicest Bill Taylor rods I have owned.
Bill's retail price on this rod is $1,250 I believe. I am open to offers but would like to get $950 for the rod. The rod is new mint unfished. If you are serious I can send photos.
