I'm sure that this has been covered but has I need an opinion on the weight forward lines sold by Hook and Hackle fly shop under their name? Thanks

It's almost identical to the COrtland Peach Classic, different color, etc.

They're great lines. I have a couple H&H lines and have absolutely no complaints.

Indeed, almost similar to the Peach line from Cortland. But not the same.
I think it's a good line for the money. Not as advanced in terms of taper or floatability as the high end lines. |

It's a good line very reasonably priced, one that I have fished
quite often. My choice for the best WF, however, is Cortland's Clear Creek. It's a nearly memory-free, dark olive, with a taper that seems to suit smooth or skinny water. I suppose there's no good reason for preferring dark olive to H&H light olive or to the old standby peach. I probably fish it better because I've grown to believe in it--just another case of needing all the help I can get. |
