16-16.5 ft rod, looks like ash. Probably a dapping or salmon rod. Butt and 2 mids apx 5.5 ft each, 1 tip apx 2 inches longer.
Brass ferrules and sliding DLRS. Brass cap at base says "Forrest Maker Kelso", and has red rubber butt. Style of butt and ferrules
remind me of Hardy rods and I'll guess it was made in Great Britain or Scotland. All sections appear straight w/no breaks. This will
display nicely with new varnish to show wood grain, and I'll need to re-wrap it as someone made repairs to the NS snake guides with
some odd looking tape. SORRY...Not able to do photos at this time. I need Info. Now I wrap a fair rod & have no problems
doing this one, but I have no idea as to it's value. This will be my autumn project. Maybe it's worth some money to you historic collectors
as is, or maybe it's a tomato stake
and just a waste of my time, but I figure someone in this site knows something or can direct me to one who does. Thanks ahead of time
as I await your response. japers
