Here're a few first draft photos of some new George Grant flies.
These belong to my buddy Bill Blackburn, who is the master craftsman who makes Tom Morgan's bamboo rods.
Bill got these flies at a fund-raiser auction in 1999. So they are mounted under glass, which makes them
difficult to photograph. I'll work on it. These photos will gradually improve over the weekend.
I need to clean the glass and to work on glare reduction.
I think these must be among the last flies George actually tied--during a period when he only tied
for shadow boxes destined for TU and Big Hole River Foundation auctions.
These flies were not labeled, so I had to make up the names.
The shadow box itself was dated 11.11.99 in magic marker.
But that doesn't necessarily mean the flies were tied at that date.

Bill lent me a few Alec Jackson steelhead flies too. I'll get them photographed at some point.
