need male ferrule from a 7' Tonka Prince or equivalent (i.e. Pocono, Wards M/71 etc.). Anybody have one or can you let me know of a source please. Would be
willing to purchase with female as a set as well.

What size would the slide be in 64's or 0.000"?

I pulled out the Tonka Prince and compared its ferrule to my box of 12's. I've got some plated NS males that have one knurled line high up on the
opening end. The top part is much longer than the H-I ferrule and so cutting down is not a problem. If you trim then to just below that line then they would
look very much like plain-Jane Prince ferrule. The slide would be slightly shorter, but the Prince has a very long slide and that shouldn't be a problem.
The only thing is that the slides on these all measure about 0.1865" - 0.187" and so you'd need to use a drill chuck to bend them slightly to not
be loose. They were all loose in this rod's female. I've done this on other rods. Let me know if you are still interested.
I'm looking for #12's for my two 7'6" Montague Fishkills and am facing the same problem of lack of NOS parts. So we are all in the same boat and I'm glad to be of help if I can. What goes around comes around, I hope. If I can I'm going to have 4 new tips made up for these rods and fish the heck out of them. |

I'm also trying to match a male ferrule that is on a tip that I purchased several years ago. The length of the male slide portion is 0.600" with
diameter of 0.208". The actual depth of the female ferrule is more like 0.760".
Do you have any solid NS ferrules that could match? |

That one I can't help you with. Don't have anything in 14/64's in the parts bins and all my 13/64's are well undersized for that dia. PM me
your address if you want to see the other ferrules.

Fixed it several years ago and had it come back from the address I had for you. Called several times and got no answer. So I cut it up and used it for
toothpicks......or maybe it's on <do-not-talk-about> auction site. Nope, it's in a tube waiting for you to claim it.
