Yes, I have used it for a number of things. It is similar to Helmsman but has some diferent properties. It is a bit slower drying, polishes
out nicely after a week or so. If you make a 1:1/4:1 Varnish:Watco oil:Mineral spirits mix you can make clear wraps with white Persall's gossamer silk. It
brushes well when you hit the right solvent:varnish ratio.

It was what I had on hand. It was the clear rub on- rub off stuff. It was a can that is over 10 years old, so the specifics may have changed. I will check and
get back to you.
BTW I give no waranty as to how long the wraps will look good. -Doug |
