Anyone gets some of these Varney, Thomas, Leonard Rods from this auction last year? |

I got lot 573, which was a Thomas rather than a Varney. It is now in the hands of Cwfly and will be seen in his avatar as the 2nd rod from the top.
I missed lot 575 which was the one I really wanted most. That one was definitely a clearly marked Varney. |

I just doublechecked the rod.
The rod I was fortunate to receive from Jeff was lot 571.

That's a nice looking rod. I just found one that I have that is very similar to yours CW, but mine is unmarked and is a 3/1. Calcutta cane, Payne type
ferrules, same reel seat, NS snakes and swelled butt. It's such a modern looking rod for one that was built about 100 years ago!
