Your calls to me and to Shorty were greatly appreciated. I really don't have the words to express how much your concern meant to me while I was alternately bored to tears and scared half to death. Yeah - I was scared for a while. My previous experiences with hospitals and doctors have been successful, obviously, but you just never know what is going to happen when you turn yourself over to them. One time I woke up with my chest stapled from my collar bone to my navel. Everything is fine - I feel good - and I started in cardiac rehab today. It went very well, so it seems my faith in the doctors was well founded. I can use all the restoration work you folks can send my way - the doctors were real friendly, but it cost about $100 every time one of 'em stopped in to say hello, and I was there for 11 days. Ouch. In case some of us have restoration work for you, are you in the same place, or has your address changed? I've got an 8' Featherweight Deluxe that needs your tender ministrations, which, as most of us know, are probably just as skillfully tender as those doctors.
