anyone order one of these? I did, a long time ago. I think 2 years ago.when I contacted him last fall he said they would be ready in spring. spring has come
and gone and still no word. he also mentioned that aorders were below expectations, so I'm thinking he never built these things. anyone know what's
going on with him?

why do you want to hurt me?
are they aluminum? I had an aluminum salmon reel ordered. I'm thinking he just never made the salmon reels. |

As Maurice's only (I think) US dealer I've had numerous discussions with him regarding the aluminum models. He last made the SA200B&S about five or
six years ago. Now, that doesn't mean he maybe hasn't cranked out one or two for long time customers, but he doesn't want me to promote them nor
will he give me a price to list. This past autumn he assured me that he'd have a small run of them going by the spring, but if that happened I never heard
about it. Titanium reels are another story and his #150 Trout models are now titanium. Usually one is looking at about a six month wait for a ti reel. I
believe, and it's just my hunch, that as long as he's busy building ti reels and they sell as fast as he can make them, the aluminum models, whether
salmon or trout, will probably remain on the back burner.

I'm sure Rich will chime in.....but the Noels that he got were NOT aluminum, but rather Delrin .....at least based on what he had told me..... I think he was just messing with you..........them Canadians.......ya gotta what out for them ..... 2 X reels i got from him were Titanium and delrin side plates , both the new 150 trout , and i had one with a little custom work on it so it's not like all
the other 150's , i think as good as any reel i have yet to have in my hands , super smooth drag , maybe a bit over kill for a trout drag , but we catch
some big fish in the bow and for me , i like it alot
