Going through my junk pile and found a 2 piece penta rod butt section (45" measured end to end with reelseat in place - no ferrule) with a marked W&M
Granger uplocker reelseat. The reelseat is dirty and untouched for years. There's a long cigar grip and no ferrule. I seem to remember there being a
Montague coke/milk bottle ferrule stuck on it when purchased along with a S.B. 260 rod. I believe that W&M sold their reelseats unmarked for aftermarket
sales. So what is is - an amateur rodmaker made beast or what? GOK's. I plan on stripping off the realseat for restoration needs and putting butt on the
for sale forum. PM if someone really has a need for it or it might be long time before posting.
