Hello This one could have been great, very practical, plenty of space! I could have bought
one like that back in 77 for pocket money! Unfortunately I had to pay for college in England!
Best regards Wolfhard

Hello!
The 2ndlast year of labour government, before Maggy came into office! An E-type coupe , early version, 6 cylinder, in good condition, no visible rust, ready to drive was no more than about 4000 Pounds corresponding to about 3000 $ or 4000 $, who cares about the difference today? And there were quite a few around. A very solid Aston DB Shooting brake was offered by friends of friends,- people were really down on a budget,- I guess it was offerered for about 4000 $, if my memory serves me right. I was living right next door to Monty`s garage, Clanwilliam Rd. in Deal at that time , (being one of those "germs"!Mild expression for "rat pack!") ) his son is a Moto-cross champion, the UK folks around here will surely know! Some wonderful vehicles around that place and in the "better-off neighbourhoods" around, Broadstairs, Sandwich, Betteshanger - etc. best Wolfhard
