I have a wright mcgill 1938 qween of the waters,9ft fly rod in new condition, still has the plastic around the cork, and in the tube. The varnish is in
perfect condition, has an extra end tipany idea what it is worth for insurance?

Could you add a few pictures? As I understand, W&M were negotiating a sales agreement with I beleive Cook's sporting goods in Denver, to have a line that they would carry exclusivly. They never agreed on a cost price to the sporting goods store and the deal fell through. W&M had produced a few complete rods, and a lot of butt sections. I used to own one of the butt sections and just recently sold it. I've always wanted to see what the complete rod would have looked like.
