Sorry, I know this does not belong here but I did not know where else to turn for help on this one, and I know there are many guys here knowledgable in this maker's work.

I have found a mint new 1977-78 Vince Cummings graphite, 4 piece, 8 1/2 foot, marked for 7-8 weight. This rod still has Vince's clear plastic on the cork grip and the original Cummings labeled tube is without flaw. I am holding off on a purchase because I knew Vince's fiberglass rods to be his bright spot, I believe? This rod has been stored in a vault for 31 years.

Anyhow, I would love a ball park estimate of what range this rod might bring with the Vince Cummings signature on the shaft. Since this is not a rod I would find useful to fish for myself, I may secure it for a safe queen.
