With blanks of Stone's quality available for such a good price, who needs plastic rods anymore? You can build up a fine bamboo with two tips for less than
what a good graphite costs. I have a Dickerson 8014 blank Dennis made that I built up into a superb 6 weight casting machine. Dennis, may you live long and
prosper.
