Well, I didn't include "landscape" shots in my entry. I think the best covers of magazines should tell a story. Not just a "look at me, I
caught a big fish story", but the look on the face of an angler who just missed a big fish or someone throwing a rock into a hole of their unsuspecting
buddy. That kind of stuff. But, since I can't resist laying landscape shots on the table, here are a couple of mine from WV headwater brookie streams...

I love the blurred water from a longer exposure time! I've never been able to reliably or predictably do that with my digital p/s (point-and-shoot, that
is; it's not a great camera, but it's not precisely a POS either
) . I have to fiddle around and see if I can figure it out. Great shots in this
thread- keep 'em coming, all~

What an spectacular view!!! If I were there, I would treat to cast a # 22 Humpy at the middle of the current where the three big rocks are.
Thank you for sharing Oldtrout. Marcelo

This is NOT a photo I took. It was on this board at least a year or so ago and I apologize for not knowing who the photographer was. I have kept it and used it from time to time as a screen saver. To me, this is one of the best "covers" around. Rolf

Rolf Jacobsen wrote:Rolf, The photographer is Tom Chandler (MountainsAllAround) and the angler is Dave Roberts (Bamboo Adict) who also appears in another Tom Chandler photo on the cover of Joe Beelart's book "Oregon Bamboo". Not sure which stream is in the photo though I think it may be the Rogue River in southern Oregon.
