Posts: 1 09/29/2007 23:03	Tags : leonard, unused, yellowstone, montana, 39h I acquired an unused Leonard Cane rod (Yellowstone series) in 1984 from an acquaintance who needed cash to acquire two unused Payne rods. The rod is 7' 6" long, 3 3/4 oz. 6 weight. The rod is unused and in perfect condition. It has two tips and is in a leather covered metal tube. It has leather Leonard tag with the original owners name and also has the HLL embossed on the leather tube cap. The address for the Leonard company is listed as: H L Leonard Rod Inc. Central Valley, NY 10917 The leather has a water stain at the bottom of the tube. Otherwise the leather covering on the metal tube is in good condition. The rod bag is brown in color with an attached leather tab to pull it out of the tube. The guide silk is straw colored with dark brown tips. Serial number is: 29xx. I would like to know what its value might be. Want to update my insurance for my fishing gear and fly fishing collection of books. Thanks !!! Tunkwa Last Edited By: tunkwa 09/29/2007 23:15. Posts: 845 10/01/2007 06:37	One of the east coast dealers has a model 40 used in a leather tube listed for 2800 not the 38 but similar. I think it is cordella. I would say closer to 2000 on the market. The leather tube is worth 350 by itself. Gregg
